AAT Bookkeeping Award Level 1

If you have no prior accounting knowledge, study this basic entry-level bookkeeping qualification for a solid grounding in single-entry bookkeeping.  By the end of the course you will be able to understand the role of the bookkeeper, understand financial transactions, process customer and supplier transactions, process receipts and payments.

AAT is a name that employers trust. Employers love AAT qualifications as they demonstrate you have the practical real world skills they need. Their qualifications are developed in consultation with employers and will equip you with the key finance skills modern businesses are looking for.  This course is aimed at;

  • those not currently in employment and/or training who are looking to acquire skills to get into the workplace
  • current office workers looking to acquire new skills in bookkeeping

The Level 1 Award in Bookkeeping is designed to give you an introduction to the basics of double-entry bookkeeping.
