Bricklaying Diploma Level 1

This is a hands-on and theoretical course where you will learn the basic skills to prepare you for a career as a bricklayer in the construction industry. It’s designed for learners who have a desire and ambition to become a tradesperson in the construction industry.

This course covers the basis of bricklaying including the use of different materials, the use of specialist tools to spread and joint mortar and cutting bricks or blocks to size. Brickwork demands a considerable amount of pre-planning, calculation and precision analysis of building plans.

The course is designed to help you progress your training within a practical environment and includes theory assignments with two online exams.  You will be fully supported by our expert tutors, who will expect you to be self-motivated and keen to achieve

The training will allow you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for a career in Bricklaying.
