Film Studies will get you looking at the whole construction of film, discovering how meaning is produced with a focus on cinematography, sound, editing, and performance.  Inspiring a range of responses from the emotional to the reflective.

You will be analysing film and the process of film making, giving a critical response and exploring the role of film within our culture. You will study and investigate the way film works as an audio-visual form of creative expression, highlighting how meanings and responses are constructed as well as investigate the personal, social, cultural and ethical significance of film.
