Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care Cache Award Level 1

This short introductory course Introduces you to the knowledge required to understand the role of an adult social care worker, the values and principles of adult social care and the skills and attitudes needed to work in adult social care. Achievement of this qualification could act as progression towards the Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health and Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings.

You will gain an awareness of communication in adult social care, it's importance, the problems that can arise and how these can be overcome. You will also find out about the work that adult social care workers carry out on a daily basis and the responsibilities they have to provide the best quality care to individuals.
