Sport Access to Higher Education

This course provides you with a balance of both academic and practical units. The aim of the Access to Sports Studies pathway is to equip you with the skills, knowledge and fundamental understanding of sport to enable you to successfully advance through to university level study the following year.  You will study topics like Skeletal & Muscular Systems, Energy Systems, Coaching & Fitness, Exercise, Health & Lifestyle and Nutrition for Sport.

This course is specifically designed for people with life experience outside formal education who would like to study at university but who haven't yet achieved the appropriate qualification to gain access to higher education.

Course Content - This course develops skills and knowledge by studying a wide range of topics. These will enable the learner to understand key elements and components within the Sport Industry with a scientific leaning to the elements covered.
