Whether in the classroom or on placement, you will be developing the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in schools.

For this course you will be attending college for one day per week and working in your placement school for two days per week.

You will cover a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development, supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs and communication and professional relationships.

You will carry out lots of different activities in class, working in groups and individually, looking at case studies and making links between what you learn at college and what you experience on placement.
