BMet students to exhibit their work

Students from BMet have been selected to exhibit their work at Origins Creative Arts Festival in London this month.

Both Ameena Khan and Luciano Lee have been selected to exhibit their work at Origins Creative Arts Festival taking place at the Truman Brewery in July.

Ameena Khan whose submission titled Comfort Blanket and Luciano Lee whose submission titled Blue State of Mind caught the attention of UAL Awarding Body’s curators who had received over 360 submissions for the festival.

Origins Creative Arts Festival is organised by Awarding Organisation UAL Awarding Body and provides art lovers, critics, industry professionals from the creative sector, the chance to meet original 14-18 creative talent from across the UK.

Origins Creative Arts Festival A free festival showcasing creative works in fashion, performing arts and music to sculpture, fine art and creative media from some of the UK’s most talented students at schools and FE institutions taking pre-degree creative arts subjects.

Origins promises a unique first look at these as-yet-unseen future stars of the creative scene. Open to the public and expected to attract thousands of visitors over the three days, with entertainment on site, the programme includes an awards event to select the top work across each subject area, guest speakers, and performance tie-ins with Barbican Box

“Origins Creative Arts Festival offers students the significant opportunity to exhibit their work. It gives them a moment in time where they can experience what it is like to be an arts professional.”

The private view will be taking place on 25 July, 6pm – 9pm

All students exhibiting at the Creative Arts Festival will have the chance to win a prize at the event’s private view.
