Discover your sixth form future at BMet’s Open Event
If you’re a Year 11 student, do you know what your sixth form future looks like? Find out at BMet’s Open Event on Saturday (24 November).
Summer 2019’s school leavers can explore college life, courses and career paths at BMet’s sites across Birmingham and the Black Country. They can also come away with their place on a course. The event runs from 10am-1pm.
Cliff Hall, Principal at BMet said: “We encourage everyone to look at all their sixth form options including studying a single subject full-time, taking up an apprenticeship or doing A Levels.
“If you’re on the right course in the right environment then college life will help you achieve your career goals. You will also gain so much more besides.”
BMet has a wide range of courses covering art and design, sport, construction, travel and tourism, health and social care, uniformed public services as well as business, science, dental, medical, IT, performance arts, animal care and horticulture.
The Open Event will also give those aged 19 and over the chance to find out about part-time courses starting in January 2019 as well as higher education courses starting in September.
The event takes place at the following locations:
• Art & Design Centre, Brierley Hill
• Erdington Skills Centre
