Sigma Financial’s Apprenticeship training academy is up and away
Mike Harfield, Chief Operating Officer at Sigma Financial Group commented: “We are well on our way to achieving our aim of bringing 600 new jobs to Birmingham. Now is the perfect time to consolidate our recruitment strategy with these career development and progression opportunities.
“We expect to train 14 staff for team leader positions, with the added benefit of their Apprenticeship training programmes being built specifically around our customer service values and quality standards as well as sector know how and legislation.”
The training includes a Level 2 customer service and team leading Apprenticeship plus bespoke leadership training sessions.
Suzie Branch-Haddow of BMet, said: “Sigma wanted to inspire staff and find the best possible candidates for their future management team. The Apprenticeship model is the starting point for a comprehensive training programme and support network that will ensure all their staff will benefit in some way.
“It’s excellent that Sigma has anticipated the expectations of the forthcoming Apprenticeship Levy and is responding in a way that will increase participation in training across different communities and upskill workforces.”
