Leading entrepreneur to be keynote speaker at BMet graduation
“We couldn’t have asked for a more inspirational person to deliver our keynote address this year,” said BMet Principal, Andrew Cleaves. “His passion for enterprise and innovation, along with his belief in opportunities for all are qualities that will resonate with our graduating students, their guests and future learners embarking on university-level qualifications with us.
“Our graduation ceremony is of course a time for celebration and we know Joel will help make this a memorable occasion for everyone involved.”
After working for advice service, Connexions and starting his first business at aged 21, Joel utilised his wealth of experience in enterprise, diversity and leadership to create leading consultancies, Cultiv8 Solutions and Hot 500, a not for profit peer-learning network for aspiring entrepreneurs and recently launched FinTech company, FeeLYX.com. He was awarded his OBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List 2016 in recognition of his services to business support and enterprise. Recently he became part of BMet’s governing corporation.
“It’s a real honour for me to formally congratulate these graduating learners as they venture out into the world of industry,” said Joel. “Their studies will have transformed their lives in many ways. I look forward to encouraging them to reflect on their learning journey and embrace all future opportunities that come their way.”
