Sigma Job Opportunities

In partnership with the DWP, we have a Sigma job opportunity along with gaining new skills and qualifications.  You are required to be 19 years and over, in receipt of Job Seekers’ Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Universal Credit.

The Sigma Financial Group – Customer Advisor Role Sigma

3 week work academy (training, work experience and guaranteed interview).

The job purpose is to work on behalf of our various clients communicating with their customers. Our Customer Advisors (CAs) must be comfortable speaking to people over the phone and for some roles communicating in writing via email and webchat. The type of contact depends on the contract; Sigma provide various services including credit management, customer services and complaint handling.

  • Full time shifts (between the hours of 8am–9pm Monday-Saturday), 40 hours a week
  • Based in Birmingham City Centre
  • No experience needed, full training provided
  • Must have good IT Skills and good written/verbal communication skills

Salary

The salary structure is as follows:

  1. £17,100 starting salary
  2. £17,800 after successful completion of 3 month probation
  3. £18,500 after 12 months service

(Salaries will be based purely on tenure. The salary bandings are discretionary and the company reserves the right to amend or remove them as necessary).

Sigma Job Training

Full training will be provided to all new CAs for the specific team/client they will be working for. The PET is made up of 2 weeks training pre-employment from BMet, 1 week Sigma pre-employment, and then a further period of Sigma training after employment. The training delivered post-employment will vary depending on the contract that the advisor is assigned to.

Your course is fully funded if you’re aged 19 years and over (before 31st August 2020) and in receipt of Universal Credit, Job Seekers’ Allowance or Employment & Support Allowance. You will need to speak with your Work Coach at your local job centre before starting a course.
