School Leaver Courses
At BMet we offer the widest range of school leaver courses in the Midlands. Vocational courses provide training and qualifications related to specific jobs and sectors, such as engineering, health and social care, construction, business and many more. They are a viable alternative to studying A Levels, enabling you to progress directly to the career of your choice or go on to university, with level 3 vocational course being equivalent to 2 A Levels.
Alternatively you can take the Apprenticeship route, where you’ll earn a real wage, learn job specific skills and gain an industry recognised qualification in your chosen subject area. Click here to find out more about apprenticeships.
Developing your English and maths skills is a vital part of programmes of study at BMet, if you haven’t already achieved an A*- C or 9-4 grade in English and maths you will be required to work towards this by studying GCSE or Functional Skills as part of your programme of study. If you have achieved these grades you will continue to build on your skills in these subjects.
